These large chickens are a a slow-growing traditional breed that produce rich, juicy meat with a good strong flavour. They are reared by Grant at Lee House Farm in Billingshurst.
The chicken are compassionately farmed (Grant cares deeply for his animals) and roam free in a large grassy paddock, enjoying a natural diet.
No antibiotics or medicines have been adminstered.
They are raised to full maturity and are sold with giblets.
As these chickens are sold by weight they are not offered online. Please e-mail us on info@greenergreens.com if you would like one. The cost is £12 per kg and they are likely to weigh between 2.3kg - 3kg.
These are rarely available to us! Great for the freezer too.
