Lovage (aka sea parsley) is a prolific growing herb which has medicinal properties and adds lots of flavour and nutrients to cooking. The aroma from the growing plant should tell you that the stems and leaves have an intense celery like flavour (even though they are from the same family as carrots and parsley)!
Add them to soups, stews, stocks and meat dishes. Like celery it is also great raw in salads of as part of a side dish.
