Steenbergs Organic Yunnan Chinese Loose Leaf Tea comes from the Yunnan Province of China, which is the birthplace of China tea.  Steenbergs Yunnan leaves have some golden tips in them and Steenbergs organic Yunnan gives a medium brew that has a smooth roundness, and none of the almost tobacco-tasting smokiness of some lesser Yunnan teas.

This is a really pleasurable addition to our catalogue as I, Jill, the owner of GG spent a few weeks in Yunnnan many years ago helping to set up a charity branch office. I will never forget the people and the experience.

Brewing tip: Use a warmed tea-pot and put 1 heaped teaspoon per person of organic Yunnan tea leaves into the pot, add freshly boiled water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.
