Kumquats 250gm

Kumquats are small citrus fruits which are eaten as they are plucked from the tree.  The skin is paper thin and is where the sugar lies. Pith is virtually non-existant (and that's the bitter bit of a citrus fruit). The flesh is sour in a rather exhilarating way and the seeds are small and edible.
