Steenbergs single estate 2nd flush Darjeeling Tea, loose leaf,  comes from the Margaret's Hope Tea Estate just below the Sonada Station in Darjeeling.  Margaret's Hope is one of the most famous tea gardens.

The tea bushes at Margaret’s Hope are mainly Chinese Jat which gives it a green leafed tippy appearance and floral Darjeeling style fragrance. Because the tea is grown at such high altitudes and in relatively cool weather the tea bushes do not grow quickly. The best quality from Margaret's Hope is from the second-flush.

Tea brewing: into a warmed teapot, put 1 teaspoon of Margaret's Hope Darjeeling Tea per cup.  Bring fresh water to the boil and then pour over the Margaret's Hope Darjeeling Tea and brew for 3 - 5 minutes.  Don't leave the tea leaves to stew!
